| When i was 14 - 18 i got cash from my mum. It was £10 a week for the younger part, and gradually worked its way up to £20. I also used to get the £45 a month child support once i hit 16 but then i bought all my own clothes etc from then on with it. That was the deal. If i wanted more i earned it by working at my parents shop. £45 a week is way over the top. I would do some serious questioning about what he is doing to need that much. I would go with the £10 - £15. If he really wants £45 try this for a month. Weekly pocket money - £45 Minus...... Rent. £10 Board £10 Bills £10 Taxi £5 Give him a proper invoice for it and everything. If he wants a grown up sum of money, you get grown up responsibilities with it.
