| It is a bit annoying. However my wife wrote a very sh'tty letter to TVL and then followed it up with an indignant phone call. That was over a year ago It seems that she must have spoken to someone who had some influence so we have received no further letters. Several years ago we were inspected and the computer (with internet connection) was on display and that gave the inspector no problems at all beyond him asking, "That's not a TV is it?" Perhaps times have changed? However for a flat fee of £500 plus VAT my wife will deal with TVL for you using her proven skills ![]()

I did query this with the TVL people, and they confirmed in writing that this was allowed - even after I pointed out the potential difficulty in proving whether the laptop was plugged into the mains at the time of watching TV. David |
