How did I ever get to be 58?

I had it under control up to my late 30s.
One birthday a year and definitely a year in between.

But then I had small children and I was Engineering Manager for a busy company and several years jumped me all at once and it's never been quite the same since.

Oh well. I went into Forfars on the way to work, looked at the cakes counter and bought two of everything so the whole office is on a big sugar hit today.

Nigel, I hope you have a great day. It's difficult to imagine what shiny toys you would want for your b'day but I'm sure you figured something out.

On a diff tack, can you assure me that the years from 50 to 58 go really slowly?
