Dirt cheap holiday for 2 reqd

OK, thanks to Citroen being all round useless at making cars that stay together, and a blowout on the M40, I have no money.

I do, however, have a week's holiday booked from the 24th Nov to the 2nd Dec.

Now I would like to take the relatively new Mrs Digger away somewhere for a few days, and to be honest the budget is absolutely feck all.

So, suggestions please, hopefully including a link, and hopefully including either the sun shining or at least something interesting to do. Other than diving I suspect.

If there is actually a good way of turning up at the travel agent on the Sat and telling them we'll take anything in the next 24hrs for dirt cheap, or websites which can do this?

Luton, Heathrow and Birmingham Airport preferred. Though I get the feeling we're not going to be flying anywhere with the budget I've got for this thing.

I seem to have found a series of dirt cheap holidays, most of which have internet reviews somewhere between "thousands of screaming children" to "stag and hen paradise" to "deceptively spacious". But now I have hit on something. Malta. I don't know any self respecting men who go to Malta on a stag weekend. Nor do I see many families and kids at the place we're planning on.

£135 each including flight, hotel and breakfast. And it's 4 star. And no-one seems to have a bad word to say about the place. Right, off to PM Pierre and see if it really is ok.
