Any one know a decent CORGI type person in Huddersfield Area

[Edit please ignore this now as it seems i may have found some one who can do it in within a week, heres hoping it dont get any colder]

My boiler is no longer working (this is after three engineers looked at it before the winter and telling me it was good for another 5 years so why did i want to replace it?).

I am currently ringing any and all gas engineers i can identify to get it replaced but in desperation i am wondering if any of the actual West Yorkshire Divers know of some one who they would a) recommend and b) who is likely to answer my calls?

I know this is so far from the norm on these boards but i'm desperate that i can actually get at least one thing right at the moment so any help will be so much appreciated (greens at every avaliable chance for the next 10 years if you like).

no we like plumbing questions a lot and gas fitting is just an extension of that.

If you find some one decent please send me his/her phone number as this time last year when my sisters boiler conked out it took her a week to get anyone to come.

Thanks, some bloke is going to try and do it this week but it may run into next if he cant rejig things (so in true project managment style i'm assuming next week but wait to be suprised)

I recently had a new one fitted and the centeral heating converted to work with a condensing boiler.
I have blokes name/number if you don't get anywhere with the current one.

All toastie now......Wood and Wotton did it in the end. Even had a chin wag with the young guy on the job who saw my diving gear and showed an interest so i pushed in the direction of his nearest club.

He lives in Saddleworth and if memory serves me right i recall there is a BSAC club over there so i gave him BSAC's web site.

By the way was you who lost your rib? Did it ever materialise?
