i have just watched Robin Hood. Whilst i have seen it before, this is (i think) the first time I have paid any attention to the theme tune.

It sounded very familiar - like it was the theme tune to something else as well.

Anyone got any ideas where I might have heard it?

i always thought that programme makers couldn't use a theme tune that had been used by something else, but i guess if the composer sells it, it is up to them how they make more money from it.

Never seen this TV series. I liked Maid Marion and her Merry Men best and it had a super theme tune
