I would like to introduce you to.....

You may remember this thread, which I started when one of my cats went for a very long walk. The last few weeks have been awful - i have walked miles round our village, following up calls i have had from people who think they have seen her. Sadly, it is as though she has disappeared off the face of the earth.

I have had loads of PM's and messages from people on YD about it, and I am very grateful to have had them. Thank you all.

Whilst it was bad enough for me and Master Scubee, it has been worse for Manta, my remaining cat. She is Puffs sister, and has spent the last few weeks sitting by the catflap waiting.

Master Scubee and I had a chat and decided that, in the best interests of Manta, we had to get another cat. Not to replace Puff, but to be in place of her - subtle, but important difference. We know that Puff could still come home, but we decided that 3 cats would be better than one.

Today, we went to an animal rescue centre not far from us. They have this cat looking for a home.

She is about the same age as Manta, and has been living in a flat. Her owner wanted her to have more space. So...... she is coming to take up some of the space we have on Tuesday.

She is very freindly - she was sat on Master Scubee's lap, purring away this afternoon, and seems to be a bit of a 'licky cat'.

Currently, her name is Fizz. We can change it if we want, but I rather like it.

Thats brilliant that you have got another moggy. A cat shaped hole in your life is never nice.

Fizz....mmm sounds like the result of a rather bad ascent (says she who currently is surrogate mum to one called Tuffy the Rodent Slayer..i shit you not).

Fancy taking on two border collie crosses??? One's lovely, the other, well a little mad...........

Only joking for those who think I'm being serious! Anyone who's met me knows I adore my dogs. Must do cos I'm up at 5.45 every working day walking them, whatever the season or weather!

Glad you are only joking! M y house isn't designed for dogs that size!
