And then even if you had a pic of yourself in a drysuit on your profile, sooner or later you'll start getting the "you are going diving AGAIN? But you've already been for a dive this year!" comments...
And the same goes for travelling. They all put that down, but do they want to backpack through central America staying in cheap places, catching buses and picking botflies out of their skin?

And the girls you DO meet, picking botflies out of their skin in cheap places in Central America all "have boyfriends at home"!

Hmmm, there may be a pattern here...

Cheers,

We'll find out next week

Well hopefully not with the botflies. There's some lovely YouTube vidoes about them.

And that wasn't one of the ones I found. The way to treat them is to apparently suffocate them first before pulling them out. This seems to involve putting duct tape over the bite to block their air hole. I wonder how long they can hold their breath underwater.

How quickly do those maggots grow?! Please tell me this isn't common!
Why did the guy in that video keep putting them back against the flesh and saying "let it wriggle"? Was he trying to get it to bore another hole? !!
I'm itching all over now and my back keeps quivering

Not the kind of breasts that you get stiff at looking at shall we say. believe me I've watched quite a few being removed and these were small ones.

Jason is quite right you have to suffocate them to get them to emerge, Vasaline will do it and apparently it's the best method as they pop their head out you grab them. If you tape them over you have to remove the tape and get them before they go back inside.

I'm in South America in February but I'm pretty sure that I won't be meeting ant Botflies or Botfly ridden hosts.
