Personally I always insist on paying for the first meal (I think the bank manager can tell when I'm on a new hunt) although if the woman drives to a date I'm not best pleased, on a first date alcohol tends to lubricate the social wheels so to speak.

Have to be careful not to speak about diving, running, or my work too much as it gets boring. But just be myself if it doesn't work it doesn't work. That said if I like a girl I'll take it nice and slow (too slow actually ), if I'm not really interested or I think she's an idiot its just about getting to hop on the good foot and do the bad thing asap

Internet dating is great, cuts all the crap out of trying to chat up someone in a noisy pub where you cant hear a thing and end up nodding and laughing without actually realising what was said. Dinner i'd offer to pay but as im now getting scottish leanings halfers is better. However there are some right loonies and stalkers waiting to pounce especially in Glasgow as i think ive met most of them However my current one i met through a mate (i think)

At least in the pub you can see what they look like rather than going on a profile where they've lied about their age, put a 10 year old pic up and written exactly the same tripe as everyone else about how they're into travelling, going to the gym and various other sports that they've probably only ever done once. Diving being a prime example.

And most of these sites allow anyone to register but don't let them read their messages unless they pay.
