Well I'm sorry but you need to get out a bit and take a look at the world, from your post I guess that you are a nice church going person, and have an issue with anyone who does not pray to some kind of god. Maybe i'm a hair splitter but statement like:

or
"religion is the issue"
are pretty unambigous.

To me the differnce between a root cause and a pretext is significant.

Will you be happy to be condemned because someone who felt inspired by your statement that the world would be nicer without religion goes out on a rampage against religous people, supposedly in your name?

They are religious cave men howling at the full moon, you are a "take the good bits and ignore the hilarious stupidity of the rest" type modern western religious person. Eventually we will all evolve and religion will be dead they are just a few hundred years behind in the evolutionary scale.

You want to believe in a super natural god? then fine I don't have a problem with that, but religion is responsible for so much pain suffering and death I have no concept of how as a man of faith you can condone its existence.

If you are saying you believe in your religion then its obvious you must support their religion as well and would support them following their religious doctrine and have this teacher flogged then executed.

If your saying your religion is right and their religion is a joke? then your just as bad as me thinking your religion is a joke.

Trouble is its usually not religion thats the problem,its the people who practice it,or use it for political reasons.That goes for any religion in my opinion,the Spanish inquisition were a great bunch,well balanced,considerate of others etc. Its a bit like we Great British vs other scum(esp French ),we all have our chav equivalent. Tolerance(of the none PC kind) of others,which has to be mutial is the main thing. Most people can be whipped up wether in Sudan,Germany circa 1930's,or British, any airport.
