| I know we are ment to be feling sorry for the teacher but...... surely she should have been aware of religious sensitivities and maybe thought again. I dont think that the punishment if it goes ahead would be fair but its the law in the country that she was teaching in. I'm being harsh because ive got the man flu and mean no offence. |

| I feel sorry for the lady concerned but the fact is that she chose to go and work in a country with laws different to ours. Having lived and worked in many countries over the years, I'm firmly of the belief that when in Rome etc. It is important that you respect the laws of the country you are in or if you feel so strongly about things then leave. If you must drink then don't go to a "dry" country, It is the responsability of the nationals of that country to change any law or government not the responsability of an outsider. I also believe that this goes for visitors to our country, but sadly we are too liberal in that respect sometimes. It has also been said that people get the government that they deserve. Look at the muppets we have leading our country, Since we do very little about it we deserve what we get. If people really wanted change a higher percentage would march, vote, etc. Rant mode off

The world would be a much nicer place if religion was banned. Just like the unions and the HSE it has had its day and now is just bloody irritating.
