Write letter to their Chief Executive (all businesses will have one of those!) send it recorded delivery and explain the crap service you've encountered, how it constitutes harrassment of a vulnerable person etc, and that you expect a written reply. Mention OFCOM and your local MP, local newspaper etc etc. I'm sure it'll result in somebody sitting up and paying attention.

| Jules, You might also want to take a look at this. I know it's not strictly relevant if there is no debt in the instance you originally describe, however, BT "think" there is, so will be covered by this. | Jules, If all else fails ring OFCOM and tell them about your situation and that BT keep you on hold, so efectively you cant contact them. Ofcom will make sure they call you back sharpish (it worked for one of my friends when they had a similar problem with NTL) HTH Simon A |

| Ok I have emailed the CEO, thanks for the email address and will see if I get a response. My poor mummy is very upset by the tone of the letters Jules
