Then i guess the games manufacturer screwed up, because a GF2 is about as far away from DX9 compliance as you get. Yet it must have worked in there tests, or they wouldnt have recommended it, or put it on the box.

I'd say judging by the specs the game is an older one, and the only reason it comes with DX9, is because thats the latest DirectX that the publisher can put on a CD, due to the Microsoft Genuine Advantage farce.

Cool Worth a try,,,

Had a similar problem with half life 2 on my lads machine,,,
Turned out that windows, as usual, was taking over and scrapping with the graphics driver,,
Disabled windows acceleration and it ran sweet..........
