Unhappy Can Christmas Day get any worse
I am a big Radio 2 fan, I have it on most of the day but please don't do this to me on Christmas day, unless it's going to be about 2 -5pm when I will be at my Brothers.

David Beckham is going to "host" a 2 hour show - sounds like it's going to be some sort of phone in - but please NO

Edit. Just looked and it is on at 3pm thank heavens for that

Closing the doors
This Christmas I can safely say will be a good one. Mostly because no family are expecting us and (sadly on the demise of HWMBO father) we no longer would have to a marathon drive to both sides of the UK to please anyone and everyone! My mum has been an angel on this occasion (not only does she know I hate the Christmas "have to get together" but she knows I want to go to our flat in France and close the door on the world. Our only issue is my best mate has chosen the first year we can f*ck off and do our own thing to come over from the US for the first time in 5 years! So we are going to have to work her and her lovely hubby into our French schedule. But I'm sure we can squeeze a night of red wine and execessive food in with them somewhere.

This Christmas will be mostly DVDs and ignoring senile relatives who think that just because they're deaf means you won;t be able to hear them slagging you off.

Although my mother won't be around, so that'll be good.
