| Congrats on your purchase Is that a 260 Juz? If so you'll be needing an ECU swap for the power to keep Mr Chase a reasonable distance behind you !! Some of the best Evo's began as 260's and for v.little money and a days work can easily turn into 360bhp+ / 340 lb/ft * with just a ecu swap and exhaust change. Don't be intimidated by such an increase though - apparently the cars drive themselves !! (psst...I'd also donate that rear spoiler to your local Asian taxi-cab and put the proper rear spoiler on - seems to be the path most owners take) Enjoy Graham *Real world figures not pub talk ones |

They've also got specialist insurance schemes with Pace Ward Insurance (who is one of the founder members of the MLR) where modifications are tolerated without premium increase! I ran my 6's on Autronic ECU's at 1.6 bar with full anti-lag, launch, throttle kicker, carbon airbox, sequential shift...blah, blah... and the premium was way better than I was quoted elsewhere ! Good luck and get yourself onto the MLR forum - more knowledge there than you'll ever need ! Best Graham |
