Is that a 260 Juz? If so you'll be needing an ECU swap for the power to keep Mr Chase a reasonable distance behind you !!

Some of the best Evo's began as 260's and for v.little money and a days work can easily turn into 360bhp+ / 340 lb/ft * with just a ecu swap and exhaust change. Don't be intimidated by such an increase though - apparently the cars drive themselves !!

(psst...I'd also donate that rear spoiler to your local Asian taxi-cab and put the proper rear spoiler on - seems to be the path most owners take)

Reliability etc not a prob at all the engines will take 1.5 bar boost flat out all day long. The 4G63 engine really is one of the toughest around - I know loads of owners who've been running 1.7 to 1.9 bar on stock internals for literally years without problems!! 1.5bar on an ECU swap is really common. Loads of great info over on the MLR forum Mitsubishi Lancer Register

They've also got specialist insurance schemes with Pace Ward Insurance (who is one of the founder members of the MLR) where modifications are tolerated without premium increase! I ran my 6's on Autronic ECU's at 1.6 bar with full anti-lag, launch, throttle kicker, carbon airbox, sequential shift...blah, blah... and the premium was way better than I was quoted elsewhere !

Good luck and get yourself onto the MLR forum - more knowledge there than you'll ever need !
