Hi All,

Anyone got or had an Evo VIII?

Service intervals at 4.5k - but what sort of costs are we looking at?

How much is a set of tyres?

about £350 for a service and £160 for a (proper)tyre shit ones £100.00.

Tyres good for 6-8k.

Servicing is about as I was expecting £700ish per year, but the tyres would be a killer, that's another £800 - 1000 per year.

Hmmm, I want one, but maybe I should re-think!

If you go down to Wales this weekend you may be able to make a hybred super car up with all the bits pieces by the road side and in the bushes where the rally cars have gone off as it is the RAC rally weekend.

100-160 sounds very cheep for tyres? My Mazda RX8 tyres were £200each

The Evo is a very very fast car but about as much fun to drive as a bus. Its a car to make people who cant drive very fast, drive very fast. In order to do this they have some very expensive and likley to fail trickery on them.

There are a lot slower cars out there that are much more fun to drive and easier to own.
