Unhappy Evil Knievel
Couldn't believe it when I heard it this morning on the radio! He's died of ill health.

Anyone who was born in the 60s will remember him with fondness! Absolute idiot when it comes to hurting himself but a legend. He always had me in awe. He was just a character who everyone knew.

RIP Evil. You certainly lived longer than anyone ever expected.

Yep, he will be greatly missed but fondly remembered.

He was one of the last true "lifes characters". A real risk taker & showman.

As you say, a complete idiot, when he planned to jump the Grand Canyon, or Snake Creek, anyway, as the stunt had run out of money, he didn't make any provision for landing the other side! If it hadn't gone wrong & his parachute open half way across he wouldn't have suvived the landing. He simply shrugged his shoulders & said " The show must go on! "

I guess he is up there now, arguing with the big fella, on jumping the pearly gates or trying to talk half a dozen angels into bed!

Yes we were sad last night at the news. I did hear one fantastic quote from him about driving the best cars, wearing the best clothes and drinking the best booze. Now I'm not one for cars and fancy clotes but we certainly saw eye to eye when it came to booze
