It can be used to encourage people to move out of your way, thereby giving you easy access to the shopping areas." Pushchairs also very useful to see if any traffic is coming before you step out into the road / car park. |

| I happened to be in east London on Saturday for a course once this was over i thought i'd go to the GAP flag ship store to get a few things with my 30 percent discount voucher firstly, they had closed Oxford Street to traffic, which as ok i thought as i could walk in the middle of the road but it seemed to have attracted every single person who lives within a 50 mile radius of London there was no room to walk on the path or the road as soon as i got out of oxford street tube station they shut the doors to prevent more people from getting in i got to GAP and it was manic! there must have been 2 thousand people in the one shop the fitting rooms were full and the queue was so long, i didn't want to wait people were taking in 25 items of clothing, leaving them with the fitting room assistant and took 5 into the cubical at a time they could not keep up with putting the unwanted clothes back in the shop floor, it was a mess i figured i'd just buy the clothes, try them on at home and return them at my local store the paying queue was longer than the fitting room, so i left empty handed |

| Christmas Shopping what's that ?, ahh, that's when I go to a Cosmetics warehouse, midweek when it's empty, park next to the front door, and spend 15 mins buying everyone perfume / aftershave at 75% off what you'd pay in the shops Quote:

| Pensioners: You have all day to do your shopping. Make sure you visit the shops at lunch time and just after office closing times, when most people of working age will be rushing around trying to get everything done. Stand dithering in the aisles and chatting to the checkout staff about your corns. Pay for your purchases with coins and make sure you count them our really s-l-o-w-l-y.

| And don't forget to keep your purse right in the bottom of your bag and act surprised when the cashier asks you for payment. It's lots of fun for those behind you in the queue to watch as you scrabble for your purse for 5 minutes. Then, if possible, make sure you bash peoples' shins with your tartan shopping trolley as you leave the shop.

| I think you're all nutters... This isn't just a December phenomenon!! This is what it's like all year round. The supermarket really winds me up. Especially those b'stards who want to look at something on the otherside of the aisle and so trail their trolley behind them at armslength to block off the whole aisle to everyone else. It's them and the ones who just stop randomly and try to block the whole of the reduced items aisle that piss me off the most. I've taken to trying to beat them at their own game by walking as slowly as possible in front of them and blocking them using the same techniques. If they get in the way I drive the trolley into them and claim I didn't see them. They're fcukers, the lot of 'em! Occasionally I have to loudly comment to SWMBO obeyed which ones of them I would exterminate if I were to go on a killing spree through Tesco with a shot gun. That always gets a good reaction! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10....... aaaaaaaand relax...... Phew!

| I don't know what you're all complaining about. I give people in my way a loud warning I'm coming through, and then I go through. If you don't move, then you get moved. Simple really. Although the absolute best way to go shopping in December is on crutches. If someone gets in your way, give a crack on the leg and they apologise for letting you hit them!!!!!!!!!!
