Smile The Perfect Evening - well, nearly!
As it says on the tin! This evening has been nearly perfect.

Had a curry for an early tea. Shame I couldn't have a bottle of Tiger to go with it, but I was driving!!

Picked my friend up. Popped to Guildford to the Turbs Mum's house to pick up a cylinder for Tricky. Then into London.

Just seen Thunder live at the Astoria. Fan-BLOODY-tastic. I love heavy rock bands and have to say I reckon Thunder are one of the best! The last time I saw them live was in '95.

My ribcage is aching because of the drums and my ears are ringing! Awesome!

Curry for tea. A heavy rock concert to follow. Like I said NEARLY perfect!

Sorry! Had to share that cos I'm on a high! And tomorrow I'm back in the pool for a training session to practice skills and things! Life is GOOD!!!!

Thunder? Blimey - didn't know they were still going. Haven't heard anything of them since Laughing on Judgement Day. Is the newer stuff any good?

Yep they're still going as strong as ever! And as awesome as ever!! The new stuff is still good and Danny, despite having short grey hair has still got the most amazing voice! He has so much energy! I reckon their best album was "Back Street Symphony" IMHO but the concert was excellent, if you like a bit of a head bang!

If you were a fan you ought to check them out and get to a concert. They've a few dates left this year and from what I can gather they seem to tour once a year, or have done for the past few years!

sadly, not in Australia. Still, I just downloaded 3 albums from legaldownloads for less than 4 dollars, so I'm going to stick the headphones on and see if they match up to Backstreet Symphony, Distant Thunder or Low Life In High Places - here's hoping.
