My favorites from deep in the past....

Stanwell House hotel, Lymington
Talland Bay, Cornwall
Speech House, Forest of Dean
Two Bridges, Dartmoor
And for the more adventurous.... Tangier, deep Souk

But as you are asking where she would take me.... probably a boarding house in Morecambe... who says romance is dead?

Well last time I was making the arrangments for a fun weekend away i took him to the wheatsheaf at swinton

Walking in the Scottish Borders

The food is fantastic, the veuve cliquot very affordable and the honeymoon suite is .. very romantic... The service is ace, really friendly and it has huge log fires in the bars.

AND it's only about 20 minutes from st abbs so you can have a luxurious dirty weekend AND go diving!
