Talking Question for the Ladies

To keep it fair

If you were going to whisked away for a weekend. Where would do YOU think HE would take you.

Same rules

UK mainland

No more than £200 per night!

Knowing my luck, a Travelodge in a godforsaken town somewhere.

However, the nicest places I have ever been whisked away to were: Castle Coombe... the prettiest village in England

The Castle Inn at Castle Combe

and the King Arthur on the Gower in Wales

.THE KING ARTHUR HOTEL.

Either of those would be guaranteed to make her happy.

Somewhere in Wales is a Castle (well, I guess there is more than one, but this was is available for holidays etc). I stayed there for a weekend about 12 years ago. Can't remember what it was called, but it was very romantic, a beautiful part of the country. I shal see if i can find it on the web.

Here it is. £195 for 2 nights

Bryn Bras Castle

It was so dark there that when i woke up in the middle of the night i thought I had gone blind.
