| well ive just been told that it's a cocktail dress/blacktie(as in shirt and tie) event so now im buggered because i dont no if this dress is like that now... HELP!!!! |

| Don't worry about it.... bottom line from the depths of time and not really relevant today (except in VERY formal places): Evening dresses - full length, shoulders covered when eating, Cocktail dresses - shorter (but below the knee).... No one bothers these days... if the event is black tie/Cocktail dresses the one you have chosen is just fine (if you are visiting some Royal Palace ignore me and ask someone who knows more about it....) Rich PS tell your dad to get to the post office with my wing....
