It seems like there are some very stupid organisations out there who keep trusting sensitive information to the Royal Mail. The Vehicle agency in Northern Ireland have lost information, a PCT have sent staff information to companies tendering to provide services

The vehicle agency have put out a £20K reward. Tell you what how about this, phone a motor bike courier company, personally hand over the package and send him on his way - that's what we used to do if information had to go to a client.

For heavens sake how difficult is it, all these rewards are going to make some unscrupulous postie light fingered just for the reward.

Some of these agencies are big enough to employ a full time biker to take documents to other offices and wouldn't cost anymore than a reward.

Odd you should say that, a few weeks back I was admiring a bike as it slipped between the rows of cars on the motorway. As it passed us the unmistakable bungied-on top box showed it was a courier. The rider gunned it as they got past the cars and a document slipped out the top box and onto the M5.

Someone somewhere didn't get it.....
