A young, attractive woman thought she might have some fun with a stiff-looking military man at a cocktail party in Hereford, so she walked over and asked him,

"Hi there, when was the last time you had sex?"

"1956" was his reply.

"No wonder you look so uptight!" she exclaimed. "Sweetheart, you need to get out more!"

"I'm not sure I understand you," he answered, glancing at his watch, "It's only 2014 now."

Yes, alas, the 'surplant an asterix in place of any vowel that it thinks might be contained in (and by doing so distrupt that word to the reader) a naughty word' feature has been enacted on the forum - I think as a result of some of the recent posts.

Can't say I agree with it, as it makes perfectly innocuous words look stupid, as in 'Wastw*ter', which should read
'W a s t w a t e r'........without the *

What the system thinks you were trying to write was T W A T

I'm sorry Gav,

That's beyond the pale and completely out of order! Calling someone a 'thorpe' on these boards will not be tolerated!! ;)
