Get them to send it with a low marked value on the shipping papers, that way you only pay tax / duty on that amount, Not the amount you actually paid!! if you see what I mean. The problem is.....Do you want the shipment insured?? if so you have to declare its value

| To avoid duties it needs to be under £36 if it is a present and under £18 if not. |

| Alternatively if they mark it as as a "return from repair" then that doesn't have any import duty either.
