Emily-MV Radiant Queen saw the sea in a book once
Bought a house in Orkney 4 years ago that had water running down the walls it was that damp. I new it needed a new roof and re-rendering and the windows were rotten but just turning the heating on and buying a couple of dehumidifyers sorted the immediate problem out quickly. So if the outside is sound it probably just needs living in. Is it single glazed? You will always get condensation on single glazed windows.

Hope that helps and good luck.

P.S aaprt from buying my boat it was the best buy I've ever made!!

Buy a proper Building Survey and dont rely on the mortgage valuation report.

If your buying at the top end of what you can afford then it would be worth is weight in gold.

Use an independent RICS qualified surveyor not the one from your Building Society who is more used to the quick valuation reports.

Sounds like you problem is condensation but it needs a proper inspection.
