I made the mistake of once buying a Manic Street Preachers tape from the services on the M6. It was such utter shite that I immediately tried to chuck it out the window but it was instantly blown back in and cracked me in the middle of the forehead. As I was doing in the region 85-90mph at the time the impact stunned me and the next thing I knew I was headed towards the central reservation whilst yelling "f***ing Welsh c**ts".

So obviously the thrown from a car theory, due to this scientific test, doesn't hold water.

I remember 4d ones - where you had to manhandle 4 x 1d (old pence) coins into the machine - and Button A was always more difficult to push in than Button B..... But the kindly operator always gave you a free call if you told her that you had lost your money - :-)

a C-60? come on. who the hell ever bothered with a 60 minute tape? the most pointless piece of plastic ever (I can feel another thread coming on). You can't get a whole LP on one side, and if you put one side of the LP on each side of the tape you have to fast forward to the end every time. You need a C-90.
