| Theories sort... OK, over the weekend, somebody told me a theory on something, but I think its just a wind-up. So, to verify this (or not!) I will give you all the scenario, and see any any of you can give me the theory used.... <Scenario> I live in a rural area. Quite often, in amongst the hedgerows by the side of the roads, I've seen broken cassette tapes, with the tape all unwound, and draped around several bushes and small trees. Because of the way the tape has been draped, it doesn't look as if it has just been "thrown out" of a car window, it looks more as if someone has deliberately dressed the hedgerows (almost like putting lights on a Christmas tree). Often, these tapes are draped on sharp bends... </Scenario> So, my question is.... why? Come on YD, lets hear your theories on this. (I'll let this run for a few days, and will then post the theory I heard, for you to laugh at/pull to pieces/or even verify!) Thanks Andrew |

| It has been thrown out of car windows, but the little bit of tape that is exposed catches on one of the branches. The wind then blows the plastic box bit around, pulling more and more tape out of the holder because some of it is caught in the tree/bush. I know that because I too live in a rural area. (actually, I have no idea how it happens, and am surprised that in these days of CD's and MP3's that it still happens

| I saw an advert on the telly the other day, for a gadget which repairs CD's, stops them sicking and jumpig because of finger prints and dust and stuff. I remember seeing CD's on Tomorrows World, when they promised that you would be able to put jam on them, and they would still play........ what happened? are they not the same as Raymond promised?
