New dive car
Need to change car to release a bit of cash

Need something that's reliable, good for dive kit and economy, with a bit of poke, and can do about 18K miles per year. Probably only need to last 18 months or so.

any ideas for around for £3K mark?

I think you would get a decent Passat/Avensis diesel estate for that.

18k per year is 'popping down the shops' for these babies

peugot 307 5 door TDI plenty room for two lots of twin 12's and all the other paraphanelia 2 divers take away for a weekend and so economic. I have had mine 2 years now and done just over 60k miles and does approx 500 miles on a tank.
