Your daughter obviously has good taste. I was hartened when we discussed this in the pub at christmass and some 19 year old yoof said the one he would like to pass on was Echo and The Bunnymen Killing Moon.

I never did like any of my Parents choice in music.

My taste in music is always changing, so my kids hopefully won't get stuck in a rut!!

My parents' choice was James Last and Burley Chassis. I possess none of that music.

I've passed my taste on to 2 of the kids who are accompanying me to see Morrissey for the third time next month.

My parents were desperately un-cool. My dad even smoked a pipe but they did listen to the beatles so I'll have Sgt Pepper from them and my kids can have teenage kicks (undertones) and whole lotta Rosie (AC/DC) respectively.

I inherited Cat Stevens - Moon shadow

Got quite varied collection... Would like to pass on a bit of Tori Amos though

Funny how some 'choons' (That's what the yoofs call 'em!) I can't imagine being passed on.... Can I imagine celebrating my 60th birthday with

House of Pain - Jump Around

or

Cypress Hill - Insane in the Brain

Maybe more so the 2nd one...

Mum & Dad's "song" was Nat King Cole's "When I fall in love", and it holds a place in my heart and reminds me of Mum so, so much. It's what love should be about. (That's me for the mushy crap. Like seeing me in pink, it won't happen too often!!!)

The track I'll leave for Jaye is more an album. Thunder - Back Street Symphony. Of the tracks, number 3 - Don't wait for me - is the one I'll leave with her! She sings that one the loudest in the car when it's on full blast! I've turned my child into a rock chick!!!!
