Bad snow tyres
Avon Speedmasters on a Royal Enfield Lightning aren't good on snow :-)

And it is flinging it down here..and the council are in Grit Hoarding mode...saving it up for the summer no doubt

If we didn't need grit up here... you wouldn't have so many world class quarries to dive in...limpid, gin clear water...bistros by the water side......

I just need to use St Abbs as my local and Oban if I fancy a wee drive :-)

Now, how many times could I go to Scapa this year?? :-)

We had a light dusting here at about 8am all gone by 11am meant to be coming back later this afternoon and should be heavier

and the rock salt comes from a mine in cheshire ( winsford)

Salt mine diving? imagine if you had a cut on your lip???

last year here the council added fish oil to the salt/grit mix due to apparent antifreezing properties....

how many skids and near misses you recon that cost???

It all looks rather dry out here in the sticks..... no big black clouds, just grey skys
Juz's car was covered in frost all day yesterday but this morning just before 7 it was dry as a bone........
Looks like he could have left me 'the beast' and brought 'the toy' to work!
