Any trekkies about? (as in star trek)

Jesus no! Im not a trekkie (as I dont live with my folks or make comparisons to Star Trek for everything in normal life) but I know why its fiction, could you picture half the women you know wearing the lyrca numbers that Try or 7 of 9 wore, it would be enough to endanger reproduction on a mass scale....sorry to the ugly girls, you know who you are! ......

There was a quote from Jeri Ryan that the woman who dressed her knew her far too intimately.

The OS (original series) costumes were designed by a chap called William Ware Theiss, there is a costume design term from theron in of the Theiss coefficient of titillation which goes some way to explain the 7 of 9 costumes and the fact that no-one deems to wear a bra in space.

I cant really slag as I watch Emmerdale, Corrie and Eastenders (and in that order!), so Im a SSW, Sad Soap Watcher! I was a trekkie back in the 90's and was a member of the first club in Ireland, but after seeing what arrived at the meetings (people dressed as aliens going to macdonalds for lunch or the pub afterwards) I decided that watching the show alone was enough, as saucey space minx's really cant be beat!
