master scubee puked just before Christmas, and then got what i would imagine is the worst cold he has ever had.
I had a bit of a cold, and was miserable for a couple of days, but otherwise fine, but a few people I know have had really bad doses of cold, leading to chest infections and all sorts.

I think we have got off lightly, given the problems some people have had.

Though not really to do with the infectiousness of the virus it's vever nice to be ill with the same thing twice so soon apart.
It's likely to be one of:
a) It never really went away and has just come back.
b) a mutated version of the same virus.
c) a different virus with similar symptoms.

Unless you get ill often my money would be on c.

I got that bug 2 years ago and the benefit of losing weight would have been great (people who know me, know about my OThree drysuit taking up the whole of their room, giving the tester shock thinking they had gotten the inches mixed up with mm's!) but I was doing impressions of a human fire hydriant and as I was singing into the toilet bowel, lets put it this way, when my rear truster went into reverse mode and I ended up covering the bathroom in an interesting decor! I ended up in bed for 2 days and only drank flat 7up, my sympathy with you sufferers

I dunno, I reckon b is a bit common nowadays. Those buggers really have mutating down to a tee and, I gather, the mossies have perfected it now

Mutation is common, however, mutating sufficiently to beat his heightened immune system with a few weeks is some serious going, though not impossible. If this were the case we would be seeing a lot more cases than we are.

It wouldn't be the mossies, it's the little critters inside them, nasty little blighters.

As a rule I give my body what it wants, especially when it's clearly iron, and have just eaten a plate load of fried chicken livers. I'd have accompanied it with red wine (an excellent source of iron ) but have to drive to the vets later

I hope you all feel better soon
hmmm feeling under par, cravings for food, forgetful .

No sign of it here, but if I don't get it, I might pretend to as I have to drive to Wirral on Tuesday for meetings that I don't want to go to.
