| new dive sit sorry to hear and see your flooding. It is also depressing with the amount of time it will take to dry out and then you have to have the walls replastered and floors etc sorted out. Our local area was flooded last year and some people are still not back in their homes. I've been racking my brains trying to remember the name of the company we got help from a couple of years ago, they act on the insured person's behalf and liaise with the insurers which means that when the insurance underwriter wants to reduce your payout, the company rep fights your case. They also arrange the workmen to come and sort out the repairs and are more likely to use locals. They were very good when we had some leaky pipes recently and flooded the bathroom. If I remember the names I will post it on here, if not, maybe someone else knows their name. Unfortunately, the puter link is on my work puter and I am at home. |

| FFS - just finished clearing up the flood from the other month and we are flooded again where did all this water come from - we have not had any heavy rain someone suggested that the Jubilee river at Maidenhead had been closed for a while and they had openned it over the weekend sending masses of water down stream flooding the villiages and, I had left my dive gear on the floor in the garage after diving Saturday so, now it's all dirty ![]() |
