They most certainly are not - the Euros have loads of duff places Forumule Un and Ibis are two I could name and Camponile (& Mercure) rise above them in a pink cloud of garlic. I even keep their directory in my glove box, just in case..........

I've stayed in a formule 1 before and it was a stinking dump- like a damp Digger's bedroom. This Campanile is ok- here for 2 days fiddling with a French power station then off to Carcasonne for a few days R&R with Missus Woz and about another 8 of her family. Ski boots are in the luggage which sounds like a recipe for a hospital stay if ever I've heard one.

You could try "Voulez vous couchez avec moi?" and demonstrate the problem.
