Dear All

Thank you for your support for this e-petition. It appears to have bucked the trend and worked!

The government have decided to offer a mobile biometric service that will be visiting the Chernobyl area in the period April - September thereby allowing the children affected by the accident at Chernobyl to get the required finger prints and photos taken for the their visas.

In addition the governemnt has decided to continue the issuing of the visas free of charge as they recognise the benefits that the visits to the UK bring to the children.

It makes a nice change to be able to say something positive about the government.
