Oh, yes - I have done the same at various funerals and wakes.

That is perfectly appropriate - you are remembering a loved one with respect and love.

What I beleive to be innapropriate isn't that. It is having respect for those who made peoples lives a little richer, not turning their early demise into an excuse for a laugh and a joke.

For the funeral, mrs Beadle doesn't know what to arrange !.

She would like a lavish do, but on the other hand she thinks a small finger buffet is more appropiate.

At Mr Beadles post mortom this morning, the coroner was asked ?

" What time did he pass away ? ".

" Thats easy due to the fact that his arms were across his chest we were able to determine the exact time of death. As the big hand was pointing to the little hand " came the reply.
