pudding club

I have been trying to organize a surprise weekend away for me and the wife. Initially was going to book a W/E to Rome but this involved too much work logistically plus the wifes passport is about to expire so it would not be much of a surprise. Whilst looking around on the net came across the "three ways house hotel" in Gloustershire which is home of the "pudding club" I remember seeing this on TV and it seems to be alot of fun and different. Does anybody have any experience of this place?

Was a bit reluctant to post as I know what a healthy bunch us divers are when it comes to food and was not sure if it's the sort of establishment a health concious diver would visit

are you sure the references to 'pudding club' have anything at all to do with food? You might want to avoid the place like the plague if it's the other pudding club your mrs might end up joining...

Well if you get to experience the puddings that they published in the pudding club of Gt Britain recipe book, then I am very jealous.

It's an awesome book and they are terribly yummy puddings.

I stayed there for 2 nights the week just gone nice hotel the food is fantastic but make sure you leave room for the puddings can't tell you much about the area as i was there on business but i highly recommend staying in the 3ways i stayed in a normal room but they do theme rooms like the treacle room etc which are meant to be great. Staying will do no good to any diet but you will love the food. Certainly eased a very stressful time being able to relax there of an evening and enjoy some fantastic food. My only complaint the keyring for the room is huge Book it you'll love it any questions give me a shout i'll answer them if i can if not a colleague lives around the corner so i should be able to find out.
