answer - nothing, the lights would glow but wouldnt project any light as you would be catching up with the edge of the projected beam the instant it left the headlamp filament.
Not so sure on that one. Einstein and relativity and all of that stuff. I think the light does leave. to the person in the car the light still moves at the spped of light.

I seem to remember there being something to with a cone of light as well, but it is a long time ago.

if a tree falls down in the forest, and no=one is there... will it still make a noise?

What is an occasional table the rest of the time?

Why is it a pair of trousers but only a bra?

Similar to - a man stands alone in a forest and no-one can hear him, is he still wrong?

Two perfect spheres can never touch as the point of contact is just that, a point, which in scientific terms only has position but no dimensions.
Both spheres can't occupy the same point in space simultaneously so effectively they can't touch. If they do touch, be it only a gnat's twat, they cease to be perfect spheres as there will be a flat contact area between the two.
The fat bloke in the pub told me so it must be true.

Do the same people point to their groins if they're asking where the toilet is?

Nah. The thrust is indeed applied to the air, and ordinarily would move the plane forward. However, here we have the conveyor trying to move the plane backward at the same speed, so the engine thrust just counteracts that to keep the plane stationary, and not going up.

Unless it is a Harrier, with thrusters pointing down (technical term ), in which case it will go up due thrusters, and back due to conveyor, and take off backwards!

Who started this nonsense!

Dave.

No. The light from the headlamps would still travel forwards at the speed of light relative to the car. However, you wouldn't be able to see anything reflected back. Everything in front of you would be blue-shifted so much it would be invisible at all wavelengths.

Assuming you could travel at the speed of light blah blah blah.
