Now, I'm glad you've asked this Ahoy because, as YDs resident relationship cousellor, I'm here to help. Women, as you may have noticed, are different to normal people. For example, whilst you or I enjoy nothing better than a good days diving followed by a decent single malt or two, they take great delight in dealing with a big pile of ironing and watching eastenders. Clearly there is no logic to this so to try to apply logic to predict the behaviour of your paramour is quite unhelpful. I suggest instead that you use her abscence to procure a large bunch of flowers from your nearest petrol station, (and some barbeque charcoal too if it's on offer) and visit your local Aldi where there are some particularly good deals on Ruwandan cabernet shiraz at the moment. Seeing such splendid offerings upon her return, your ladyfriend could not fail to be impressed and is bound to come up with the goods. Possibly more than once. I trust that will help.

I think perhaps it's relevant where exactly she has gone on holiday.

For example if she is kayaking some freshwater rivers with a female friend etc... you're probably pretty safe -

If on the other hand she has gone to Ibiza or Aiya Napa you're probably completely screwed - or at least she will be !!!
