Typical...
Just met a very nice young lady a few weeks ago and now she's away on hols for 2 weeks and largely out of contact (booked before we met, i hasten to add!). Just at the point when we're starting to get to know each other.

Bloody typical, now i've a fortnight of 'will she still be keen' etc... to dwell on... I am crap at this. Just thought i'd share: any tips on reading early signs then?

Back to glass of malt now...

try to be positive mate

if its ment to be the spark will still be there on her return ,and ya never know it mite even be stronger on her return !

What early signs do you mean though? Have you heard of self fulfilling prophecy? Dont be such a pessimist.

Relax, dont be too clingy, wlecome her home when you see her, suggest going for a meal so you can hear all about her holiday. DO NOT do spanish inquisition on her regarding the holiday as you could well make her run a mile.

But life's a bitch Only kidding mate what will be will be let her get in touch with you i'm sure she can text etc if not dust yourself off and get back on the horse again. Fingers crossed it all goes well and she flies home early because she misses you

you tinker, that made me laugh out loud...
All seemed positive before, just reluctant to be too optimistic in light of now not-so recent past relationship issues.... We've had a chat about spending time together and own space - all good. I think i'm prob just finding the whole thing a bit overwhelming (as in meeting someone who I reckon there's someting there with)

Just try and stay positive. I am sure many a people have gone through some crap relationships , survived and learnt from that experience. Its good your out in the playing field again and that you are not letting a previous bad experience put you off. Good Luck.
