The Riverdance Is Still Sinking!! High winds fail to halt Riverdance ferry bid - Blackpool Today I don't think they'll float her. She'e burried 8ft in the sand now. And what use is that "floatation" tank they welded on the upward facing hull?? They'd have more chance usinghelium party balloons. I think the salvours are getting their mony's worth before they they admit she's lost and get out the cutting tourches Any salvage YD experts got any ideas?

I think that most, if not all, of the deck cargo has fallen off, The cargo inside the hull is still there I believe. They messed about too much in the first couple of days. It could have been dragged off and towed to dry dock by a couple of handy blokes with a tug. It aint going nowhere now.

Aye, the tides are heading to Neaps again now... it'll be April before we see another tide as big as Monday's.

Well I'll eat my hat!! There was a TV reporter on the prom at Blackpool this morning telling us that it is windy. In the background you could see the riverdance, although it was never mentioned. I'm sure it was nearly upright. They've dug a trench along the lenght and it looks as though the boat, helped by the high seas, has slid down into it and is almost upright. They just need to dredge 900 billion cubic miles of sand out of the hull then she should float. I knew they could save her

Hold the front page......... I just got back from being abducted by aliens. They took me to a parallel universe where there was a boat called Riverdance on a beach somwhere in time. It had just been righted and was just waiting to float off on the next tide. It seemed very real when I got back. So real that I posted here about our Riverdance being right way up. I started to doubt myself. So I just popped up to the sea front to have a look. And there she is in all her glory, firmly on here side. Aliens, the only excuse I can think of. That or I imagined things. Strange, very strange. I knew they'd never shift her.
