Truth is, over here, we won't care that he's here. Apart from maybe whether he has to sign the register

See I knew I was right to leave Barnstaple when I did!!!

If you read the article closely it has the words "Matt Fiddes" in it - as most Barnstaple / Michael Jackson stories do ... it's only really missing the words "Yuri Geller" ohhh and "total rubbish"

It's a bit like the "Michael Jackson made an appearance at the Queen's Theatre in Barnstaple" rumour ... yeah course he did!!!!!

Barnstaple Theatre Renovation Begins

By our correspondent, Matthew Fiddler

Local celebrity Michael Jackson today make a brief appearance at the Barnstaple theatre to garner support for the renovation project. Mr Jackson, 48, has worked with local councillors to raise both awareness and money for the project. Councillor David Tate and his wife and sister Cathy Tate said they were delighted by the appearance. "Its important we has outsiders" said Ms Tate. The plan was also warmly welcomed by local shopkeepers. Owner of the local newsagents, Ian Tate said "can only do good here" and his views were echoed by the betting shop manager Simon Tate.
Headmaster of the local school Barbara Tate also welcomed the idea. Her cousin and husband Toby Tate (Jnr) had raised over 90p in donations from the local round table during a series of four jumble sales. Garage owner Brian Tate had also raised nearly a pound in an old jamjar for customer tips. "Getting local people behind the project has been so valuable to the project" said Mr Jackson.
Mr Jackson became famous in 1994 when he appeared on Television South West as a suspect in a child pornography ring and it was discovered that there was a singer of the same name. Mr Jackson was cleared of all charges by Justice Tate QC at Tavistock court later that year. A number of local people turned out for the event (pictured below)

How ridiculous. I would never wear those shoes with a floral print dress.
