Damn straight. Everybody on YD should sign up to this, just to help make a bit of a noise and to increase the media profile of China's treatment of it's minorities.

Realistically, there is not a hope in hell that China will ever pull out of Tibet - its a major tourist destination for them and full of mineral resources - in the mean time, China has made displaying the picture of the Dalai Lama an illegal act ( that s like making it illegal to show pictures of.......what........God or something - they do a lot worse, thats just a mild example) and, as the major global playa at the moment, every government in the 1st world is busy sucking up to them.

That just makes it all the more worthwile for us to put pressure on our own government and media to continue to highlight China's indiscretions.

This is just one way, and I hope that some of you will have a think about it, and sign this petition.
