For one reason and another, I let the insurance lapse on the M3 - basically, I intended to sell it and replace it with a new dive-mobile. The nice man from Hexagon was on his way to purchase it, when the tears started to roll.......... (mine, not his - do keep up).

The insurance ran out yesterday - I'm with the you don't have to be posh people - and as the renewal was £801, I thought there is no point taking out insurance for 24 hours. However, now she is staying, I rang the company and the lovely lady said "that looks a bit high - get an internet quote and we'll batch your NCD & Tracker etc".

Internet quote = £501 rang them back & job done.

Isn't that brilliant? You don't have to be posh to be privileged - just be nice to people on the phone!

Right, where do I go to get my road fund license reduced?
