Strange offspring
I always thought our offspring were odd, but I just had it proved.

Mrs. Stoo just said "If you don't behave then I won't let you wash up"

I always thought washing up was a punishment

Now small offspring is washing up happily listening to Jethro Tull, saying "Cool music!"

Has anyone else encountered this kind of very odd behaviour from their offspring?

Anything you aren't allowed to do is desirable.

No, they really want to do it.

Really.

And I haven't seen the vacuum cleaner since I fixed it 2 weeks ago.

They just nick it and spend ages making sure the floor's clean.

Social activity
There are fights as to who wears the rubber gloves, first into the kitchen gets the gloves, second in dries up, third person feels a spare part.

18yr old daughter prefers AC/DC, Queen, Pink Floyd, Led Zepp and ZZ Top to this modern cr@p music.

I see nothing strange in this.

Not got kids, but one of my mates has 3 sons. My mate is into rap and heavy metal music with as much profanity as possible, loves horror and gore films, books and computer games. His kids love pop music and tv soap Boys watching Eastenders and Coro, it's just wrong!
