Bit of of blast from the past but my father used to work at the Beeb on Dr Who (John Pertwee/Tom Baker era) as a sound engineer... always remember my mother being rather put out 'cos he often used to give Elizabeth Sladen (BBC - Doctor Who - Classic Series - Picture Galleries - Sarah Jane Smith) a lift home

Personally my favourite Dr Who assistant was Nicola Bryant as she had a fab pair of jugs..

.. i think i've drifted off the point a bit...
