I could be wrong (as usual) but wasn't there some slogan that they had about "putting a tingle on your tongue"

maybe I am thinking about something else.

That brings back memories, not seen Vesta meals since the 1970's.
They were a bit like a Pot Noodle in a packet.
Just the job with a pint of Whitbread Tankard to wash it down.

Oh the paella and the risotto! I used to love those. The beef was like cardboard though. I remember when my mum and Dad divorced, I used to "cook" for my dad when I went to visit and we had these for a treat. Followed by Heinz treacle sponge and custard.

God, I sound like an old fogey now.

But I have a strange urge to eat one. (a Vesta meal, not an old fogey) Damn you.

Vesta meals

at this rate we will have to have a Vesta meal appreciation society, with meetings and catering by Vesta.

How about some spangles? and a jubilee? and one of those cones of sherbert - rainbow colour. And some Cresta 'cos it's frothy, man.

And Nimble because I don't want to get too fat.
