For the record, my current vegetable of choice is a butternut squash. Roasted in olive oil with red onion, peppers, mushrooms, balsamic and oregano. I'm partial to a nice cauliflower cheese too.

Find them very hard to digest! Plus you can picture the scene, police arrive and theres the attacker on the ground, out cold, officer asks what happened, I dont think theres anything wrong with a man with a turnip, but a sharp stick, he'd see the pointy marks on the thiefs head, could you sharpen a carrot and maybe stab someone with one, then when your finished eat it, no evidence, bit like the "ice bullet" myth?
