Mind the others could be used as clubs or cudgels due to their weight and size. Then again the carrot could be sharpen and placed on the end of a stick to make a spear..... |

| No vegetable is better than the others. They all have their merit and fans of any particular vegetable should be able to get on with fanciers of the others. Vegetables are a bit like diving agencies. Some may hate aubergines and maybe have never tried them in a good musssaka. Most people can tolerate carrots although what you ca do with them is a bit limited and dull And celery is, to my mind, the devil's creation but there are some fans of it on the boards. Do I win £5 for being creative in my thinking?

| Depends. There is insufficient information. Cucumbers are best in salads, and I particularly enjoy salmon and cucumber sandwiches. Carrots are nice in stews and casseroles - they go soft and squishy as they absorb the meat juices. They also roast rather well in olive oil and rosemary. Aubergines work really well in Moussaka, which is one of my best dishes.
